This line of transformer is designed to convert high-voltage power to low voltage power allowing 100-277 V LED drivers to operate on 347 V mains and can be installed either in the junction box or directly on the luminaire. STANDARD® step down transformers are built according to the most important considerations: metal type of the windings. Copper windings may have a higher initial cost, but they are more efficient and reduce heat in order to save on electrical cost. Our transformers are protected by a Vacuum Varnish Impregnation and bake process for superior noise attenuation and consistency of lighting in transformer applications. Ours are the most quiet step down transformers on the market.
