3M™ Fire Barrier Plenum Wrap 5A+ is designed to be lightweight and easily installed around plastic pipes or cables in ducts, plenums and other spaces used for environmental air. When properly installed, this flexible wrap can help reduce external flame propagation and smoke generation. 3M™ Fire Barrier Plenum Wrap 5A+ is intended for use on cables and on PVC, CPVC, PB, PE, PP, PVDF and ABS pipe in return air plenums. It is tested to UL 910 (NFPA 262), UL 1887, and ASTM E 84. Applied one-layer thick, 3M™ Fire Barrier Plenum Wrap 5A+ creates a fire-resistive enclosure that can reduce the flame spread and smoke spread ratings to acceptable levels for return air plenums.
