The Inhab™ Load Manager allows you to add an EV charger or other large loads to your home, all without the need for costly panel and utility service upgrades. The Load Manager connects in-line with an electrical load and intelligently controls power to the load based on available electrical capacity at the panel. When the electrical panel reaches the maximum energy consumption threshold, the load is temporarily disconnected from the panel to prevent a panel overload condition. Once the system determines that there is enough available electrical capacity to resume load operation, the load manager automatically reconnects power to the load.
