Protect-A-Lamps, made of clear extruded polycarbonate, feature high tensile strength over a wide temperature range and high impact strength even at low temperatures. Lamps are protected against dirt, dust, bugs and flying insects with PAL sleeves. They reduce cleaning cycles as well as minimize lamp replacement due to breakage. PAL meets OSHA, FDA, NEC and USDA requirements. The Departments of Agriculture requires meat packing plants to have acceptable protection for fluorescent lamps.
