XENON JD lamps are filled with low pressure xenon gas. They provide a very bright crisp white light in a very compact lamp. Unlike halogen filled lamps, they do not produce UV and can be handled with bare hands with no effect on lamp life. They are safe to use in open fixtures and are more tolerant to voltage fluctuations resulting in longer life. Xenon lamps are ideal for lighting sensitive objects such as works of art.
