A powerful professional-grade instrument, the Metrosonics personal noise dosimeter features a simple user interface designed for the infrequent user. Two virtual dosimeters in one instrument with pre-programmed standard setups and customizable user-defined setups for unique corporate standards or local government regulations. With the db-4000EZ, the user can document calibrations and has access to a comprehensive set of measured and calculated test results directly from the instrument display, through a PC using HyperTerminal, or through Metrosoft® Software. User friendly on-screen icons and an optional vibrating belt clip notify workers when permissible exposure levels are reached. SPL, peak, maximum, minimum, average, TWA, projected TWA, SEL, dose, projected dose, exposure, compliance status, time over upper limit level, elapsed time, battery status, OR and UR indicators data displayed.
